The table works as it should in a clamp that you twist to lock it in. The arca mount is a little smaller than an aluminum one so if you have a clamp style ball head you have to decide what you want to attach because the widths of the arca do not match.

I used it as shooting tripod( to unstable) standing trying shoot Redfield target it/I was jumping from one side small triangle to other.
Using it on spotting Scope gr8 with Kestrel Elite 5700. Believe that's where it shines.
